    great video. hoping you can tell me what connector you use to attach a quarter round parallel to a 1010 extrusion. I cannot for the life of me figure out what connector you used that connects 2 tslots together

    • @8020llc
      @8020llc 27 дней назад

      Hi, Tony - that's an excellent question! One way to accomplish this, for example with a 1010 and 1012, would be to use a drill thru counterbore on the 1010. You could then use a 3068 Socket Head Cap Screw (SHCS) and a 3204 t-nut -- Insert the SHCS through the drill thru counterbore of the 1010, and thread the t-nut on the end. Slide the t-nut through the t-slot of the quarter round profile (1012) and then tighten the screw with a hex wrench. I hope that helps! For more information, please reach out to your local 80/20 distributor for assistance: bit.ly/3SY94Y7 or you can also contact 80/20 Design Assistance: bit.ly/43sH6W5

    Looks like you need some steel toed shoes to lower it.

    • @8020llc
      @8020llc 27 дней назад

      Luckily this Adjustable Floor Lock is easy to engage and disengage - there are two separate levers to engage (lock) or disengage(unlock). However, there is not a requirement to use steel toes to lock or unlock the Adjustable Floor Lock.

    • @bw162
      @bw162 27 дней назад

      @@8020llc The steel toe shoes aren’t necessary to lock or unlock but they are essential to prevent subsequent injury.

    Can I ask your team to not spam my feed by posting 30 videos all at once. Space them out and limit it to a few a day, you clearly have taken the time to produce them so you dont' need to force them all out at once once they are all finished. It is spam and defeats the purpose of subscribing to a channel if they are 50 a year but all on one day

    Do you have stupid people managing the channel? When you release like 30 videos overtaking peoples personal feed and overwhelming it with all the vids released at once...it is a recipe for Unsubscribe; I am trying to help you to realize that you stagger the releases by at least an hour or more between vids. Just smart channel strategy.

      Now is a GREAT time to build something new! It's a fantastic fastener: no machining required yet very strong, infinite positioning along the t-slot, and it utilizes a roll-in t-nut which means it can still be used when the end of a profile is captivated.

    I love your informative and thorough demonstrations of this game changer of a system. That said, we're going to have to come up with a better name than "access hole". I know I have the emotional and mental maturity of a 4th grader but the phrase "clean access hole" damned near floored me. Access port? Wrench port? Affirmative action for machinists"? Or just" hole" or just keep on using" access hole" just make sure it's a " clean access hole".

    DO NOT ADD MUSIC TO A DIY VIDEO!!!! NO MUSIC. NO MUSIC. NO MUSIC. NO MUSIC. NO MUSIC!!! HURTS THE EARS. Show HOW to build it. Don't talk. Just do it. This is video, not radio. You showed us nothing. 1. Show nuts and bolts of connection points. 2. Show what blade you use on the miter chop saw to cut it. 3. Show hinges and hardware for articulation. 4. Show end caps to seal off sharp ends. 5. Show profiles to use for this application. This is not hard to do. Instead, we have two guys chatting endlessly but doing nothing. Camera guy is focused on their faces not on project, with no closeups. No cutting tools are shown. What an amateur flop of a video for a huge company charging a lot of money for 8020 products. Unbelievably shabby videos and unprofessional. Your video is your storefront. Shoddy window dressing or shoddy videos = less sales.
